Here comes Mother’s Day…again.

Are they rolling around faster or is it just us? Seems like we just had our first Free Spirit Mother’s Day Cruise, and here it is again.

Fortunately the weather has been way better than last year at this time when the sun seemed to have forgotten Chicago…..for the entire month of May (2009 will go down as the season where we stocked up on blankets for the boats!)

We love celebrating this special day. But then Joe and I are very fortunate. Not only do we both have our moms, but they both love being out on the water as much as we do.

My mom, Dianne, and our daughters, Margaret and Ashlie, work with us at Free Spirit. And Joe’s mom, Judy, lives in Florida with the Gulf of Mexico in her back yard. We are truly a water loving family ….as you can see from the photo of Joe with his mom, Judy….pure delight!

So this year my mom will be doing what she loves most…joining us on our Mother’s Day cruises but relaxing not working (yep, probably both brunch and dinner cruises!). We couldn’t give her a better gift.

If your mom is getting tired of the same old crowded restaurant brunches, maybe you should consider taking her on a Lake Michigan cruise this year.

And we promise delicious buffets, cool drinks and three hours of ultimate relaxation. Plus chocolate for every mom. We’ve also added a raffle for a beautiful “We Love You, Mom” bouquet. Cause we know how special our mothers really are.
