We know it’s a tad cold out, but we’ve already started getting calls asking about open cruises (can you believe!). So we want to share what we’ve got planned for 2013.
2-1/2 hours of pampering, relaxing, enjoying a yummy light buffet and hanging out with your friends. It’s the ultimate tranquil treat. But it books up fast (hint: don’t wait to buy your tickets).
Equally high on our clients’ lists of Chicago Summer Must Do’s is our annual Mother’s Day Cruise. This year, it falls on Sunday, May 12th. Want to give your mom (wife, daughter, significant other) something truly special? It’s hard to top an afternoon on our luxurious Free Spirit yacht. Just think: 3 hours with family (or friends) basking in the view of our glorious Chicago skyline, enjoying mimosas and a delicious brunch buffet. This cruise fills up quickly as well, so check with the rest of the family and book fast.
And here’s a shameless plug…..speaking of booking up fast, we book private charters all year long…both corporate (office parties, client entertaining) and celebrations (weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette parties, showers). We probably say it every year, but this summer flew by awfully fast.
Probably cause this was a super season for yacht charters. Those sweltering 90 and 100 degree days are just a whole lot cooler out on Lake Michigan. So Joe and I and our crews were happy campers (well….cruisers).
If you didn’t get a chance to hang out on Lake Michigan, you still have a little time before the snow hits. And if you were meaning to book a charter but never quite got around to it, you’ll be happy to know there are still a few openings before season officially ends.
Free Spirit cruises through mid-October. You just might be able to squeeze in a fun family gathering, a get together with friends, or a company charter before the boats go to bed for the winter.
And if you want the best viewing spot on Lake Michigan, we’ve got one charter open. But you need to move fast! Our cozy and intimate Gypsy Spirit luxury yacht is available for charter on Sunday, August 19th (yep, we’re all booked on Saturday). The Gypsy holds up to 50 people, so gather up your most fun friends…. or poll the team at your office… to see who’s in for 4 hours of spectacular aerial viewing on Lake Michigan. Unusual to have such fabulous fall weather in our windy city. And windy it was this summer. Not to mention rainy and cool. So this is a treat!
We’re delighted to have a week of glorious “what city are we really in?” weather. Especially since we’re busy with corporate charters all week.
Tonight, the Lincoln Park Chamber is hosting their annual cruise. This weekend, we’ve got a business group in from China for their first Lake Michigan cruise. And there are a few other corporate charters sprinkled into the mix.
Wherever you are this week….on land or sea (well…lake), get out and enjoy the sun and warm temps.
And good luck to the runners who are doing the Chicago Marathon on Sunday. We’re cheering for you!
It never gets old. Seeing the night sky lit up with hundreds of sparkling, shimmering lights makes us look up in awe. Especially when we’re looking up from the deck of one of our luxury yachts cruising on Lake Michigan.
Granted, the Chicago sky has been lit up far too often this summer with all the lightning. We’ve all had enough of that!
But we’re talking about the man-made fireworks — the Wednesday and Saturday night Navy Pier fireworks shows. Spectacular. See for yourself.
Our Saturday night Fireworks Cruises are all filled. But there are still a few spots open for Wednesday night charters.
So if you love fireworks….and if a yacht cruise has been on your list of things to do this summer, call us while the Wednesday nights are still available.

with the weather channels talking about breaking heat records across the country, other than being inside sitting directly under the air-conditioner, there’s not a cooler place to be than out on Lake Michigan.
And nothing comes close to being out there on a luxury yacht…. lazing in comfort, sipping a cool drink, feet up, not a care in the world. But then if you’ve ever been on one of our Chicago boat charters, you know that!

First and foremost we hope you had a safe and joyous weekend. Chicagoans are passionate about summer and Monday was incredible. It was the perfect day to be out on Lake Michigan and that’s where we were, enjoying the day with friends and family. All I can say is “F-U-N”!
Yes we did work this weekend. Our clients celebrated wedding anniversaries, birthdays and enjoyed the first fireworks show of the summer. It was spectacular!

There’s been a lot of talk about the weather lately. As a matter of fact, the number one question we get when booking a charter is, “What happens if it rains?”
The other day I was walking along the lakefront, it was beautiful, sunny, perfect temperature…I felt like I was on vacation. In a matter of minutes, the wind switched out of the north, the fog rolled in and the temperature dropped 15 degrees. That’s Chicago!
Oh yea. “What happens if it rains or the weather won’t cooperate?”
We will proceed as scheduled. Our yachts are large enough to have your group inside, the food will have been ordered, and your guests invited. We’ve hosted lots of parties and meetings when the weather was less than ideal.
